Influence of Coronary Artery Disease on Cardiolocomotor Coupling during Walking

We examined the mechanisms involved in coupling between cardiac and locomotor rhythms (CLC) in patients with coronary artery disease. This preliminary study enrolled eight outpatients with coronary artery disease (CAD group) and eight healthy individuals (control group) who underwent cardiopulmonary exercise testing involving a cycle ergometer ramp protocol and treadmill walk test to record CLC strength (R2 value). The CAD group showed a significantly higher incidence of CLC intensity and lower peak oxygen uptake and oxygen uptake at the anaerobic threshold compared with the control group.

本研究针对冠状动脉疾病患者的心脏与运动节律耦合（cardiac and locomotor rhythms, CLC）相关机制展开探究。本初步研究共纳入8名冠状动脉疾病（coronary artery disease, CAD）门诊患者（CAD组）与8名健康受试者（对照组），所有受试者均接受包含自行车测力计递增负荷方案与跑步机步行测试的心肺运动试验，以记录CLC强度（R2值）。与对照组相比，CAD组的CLC强度发生率显著更高，且其峰值摄氧量与无氧阈摄氧量均显著更低。
