Wax Lake Delta DEMs 2009 and 2013

This is the digital elevation model (DEM) of Wax Lake Delta (WLD), LA, from 2009 and 2013. The original point clouds can be found at http://opentopo.sdsc.edu/dataSearch?search=Wax Lake Delta<br>The 2009 survey was conducted on January 01, 2009.The 2013 survey was conducted on February 13-14, 2013.<br>Using only the data on the islands of WLD, I removed trees and low vegetation, registered the two datasets, and differenced them using CloudCompare. After differencing, the data were gridded. Here, I store the elevations from 2009 (z09_islands) and 2013 (z13_islands) surveys of the delta's islands, along with the differences in elevations (dz_islands) between the 2009 elevations and the 2013 registered elevation (z13_reg_islands) and a spatially variable estimate of the error for the differencing procedure (err_islands).<br>For details on the data processing, see the ReadMe or Wagner et al. 2009年的野外测量工作于2009年1月1日开展，2013年的测量工作则于2013年2月13日至14日完成。
本次研究仅采用沃克斯莱克三角洲岛屿区域的数据集：首先清除了区域内的树木与低矮植被，随后对两套数据进行配准，并借助CloudCompare软件完成差分计算。差分计算完成后，对数据进行了网格化处理。
本数据集存储了该三角洲岛屿区域2009年（z09_islands）与2013年（z13_islands）的实测高程数据，同时包含2009年高程与2013年配准后高程（z13_reg_islands）之间的高程差值（dz_islands），以及差分流程的空间变异性误差估计值（err_islands）。
