Characterization of the salivary microbiome in healthy individuals under fatigue status

As researchers specializing in the exploration of the human microbiome, with a focus on its role in maintaining human health, we conducted a comprehensive study on the characteristics of the microbiome in healthy individuals under fatigue conditions.Hence, in this study, we examined the relationship between the oral microbiome and fatigue by performing 16S rRNA high-throughput sequencing to analyze the oral microbiome composition in a cohort of fatigued healthy individuals. The phenotypes and metabolic pathways of the oral microbiome were predicted using bioinformatics tools to determine how these changes will influence oral health, the central nervous system (CNS), and overall systemic health.

作为专注于人体微生物组（human microbiome）研究、并聚焦其在维持人体健康中作用的科研团队，我们针对处于疲劳状态的健康个体的微生物组特征开展了一项综合性研究。为此，本研究通过16S rRNA高通量测序技术，对一队列处于疲劳状态的健康个体的口腔微生物组（oral microbiome）组成进行分析，以此探究口腔微生物组与疲劳之间的关联。本研究借助生物信息学工具，对口腔微生物组的表型与代谢通路进行预测，以明确这些微生物组的变化将如何影响口腔健康、中枢神经系统（central nervous system, CNS）以及整体全身健康状况。
