micro-CT data for fossil nits in mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber

Microtomographic data for two of the nits on the feather were obtained with a Zeiss Xradia 520 Versa 3D Xray microscope at the micro-CT laboratory of NIGPAS, and reconstructed in VGStudio MAX 3.0 (Volume Graphics Co., Ltd.). Scanning parameters were as follows: isotropic voxel size, 1.2 μm; power, 4 W; acceleration voltage, 50 kV; exposure time for each projection, 10 s; projections, 3201.

本研究中羽毛上两枚虱卵的显微计算机断层扫描（Microtomographic）数据，由蔡司Xradia 520 Versa型三维X射线显微镜于中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所（Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences，缩写NIGPAS）的显微CT实验室采集，并通过Volume Graphics有限公司的VGStudio MAX 3.0软件完成重建。扫描参数如下：各向同性体素尺寸1.2 μm；扫描功率4 W；加速电压50 kV；单幅投影曝光时间10 s；总投影数3201。
