Dataset of Oil or geopolitical issues? : Quantitative Rethinking of Political Instability in the Middle East and North Africa

The data show that being an ex-French colony or ex-British colony worsens the Fragile States Index score. The artificial frontier sparked not only wars against Israel, but also conflicts within Arab countries. The results are consistent with shatterbelt theory in geopolitics.
