Crab nociception

This study investigated the existence of nociceptors in shore crabs by examining the CNS response two types of potentially noxious stimuli i.e. mechanical and chemical, acetic acid. The results suggest that the crabs responded to both mechanical and chemical stimuli, indicating the existence of putative nociceptors in these areas.本研究通过检测滨蟹的中枢神经系统（Central Nervous System, CNS）对两类潜在伤害性刺激——机械刺激与化学刺激（乙酸）的响应，探究了滨蟹体内伤害感受器（nociceptors）的存在情况。结果显示，滨蟹对上述两类刺激均产生了响应，表明该物种体内相关区域存在推定的伤害感受器。
