Dutch hip hop (Nederhop) corpus

This is a corpus of 6695 Dutch hip hop lyrics by 577 artists from 1995 to 2022. It aims to cover all lyrics by all major Dutch hip hop artists active in that period. Because it was built with the aim of performing a sociolinguistic analysis on loan words, it also includes some biographical information about the artists as well as a count of all non-Dutch words in the lyrics. Dutch hip hop is also called Nederhop.

本数据集收录了1995年至2022年间，577位荷兰嘻哈艺术家创作的6695首嘻哈歌词。其旨在覆盖该时期内所有活跃的主流荷兰嘻哈艺术家的全部歌词作品。由于构建本数据集的初衷是针对歌词中的外来词开展社会语言学分析，因此语料库同时收录了艺术家的部分生平信息，以及歌词中非荷兰语词汇的统计计数。荷兰嘻哈音乐亦被称为Nederhop。
