This dataset supports the study investigating species sorting and biodiversity in Grenada’s mangrove ecosystems. It includes comprehensive data collected from four mangrove sites: Mt. Hartman, Westerhall, Conference, and Levera, during February–June 2020. These mangals represent a range of site sizes, shapes, species compositions, and levels of anthropogenic disturbance, providing critical baseline data for future research on Caribbean mangroves.The dataset contains:<b>Bird Data</b>: Detection histories, species abundance, functional diversity metrics, and trait data from point counts conducted monthly at each site.<b>Vegetation Data</b>: Species composition, size class distributions, canopy width, basal area, and tree height measurements collected along transects with equidistant plots.<b>Fish Data</b>: Species composition and abundance in mangrove-associated waters, sampled using standardized netting methods.<b>Water and Plant Stable Isotope Data</b>: δ²H and δ¹⁸O measurements for water samples and plant material, collected to investigate water source use and plant-water interactions.<b>Invasive Mammal Data</b>: Detection histories for species such as rats, dogs, and cats, recorded using trail cameras.
