Food safety evaluation of commercial Bacillus thuringiensis product

Bacillus thuringiensis is a known biofertilizer but is also closely related to foodborne pathogen Bacillus cereus. This study aims to evaluate the safety of utilizing Bacillus thuringiensis by evalating the composition of the product, comparison between Bacillus thuringiensis and a reference Bacillus cereus strain and its ability to persist within a hydroponic system.
