H3K9ac ChIP-seq of hybrid rice. Oryza sativa

ChIP-seq (H3K9ac modification) analysis of the elite hybrid rice Shanyou63 and its parental lines (Minghui63 and Zhenshan97) revealed that an enhanced network of energy-producing metabolic activity and growth-promoting histone acetylation/gene expression in the hybrid correlates with the superior growth rate and may constitute a model to explain heterosis.
