Pilaster Console from the Rocca Roveresca di Mondolfo

This decorative console comes from the fort of Rocca Roveresca di Mondolfo on the Adriatic coast. Curling leaves and scrolls rise up from a central ledge to support the top of the capital. A sunflower decorates the area between the scrolls while classically inspired acanthus leaves provide decoration to the left and right.这件装饰性台饰出自亚得里亚海沿岸的蒙多尔福罗卡罗韦雷斯科城堡（Rocca Roveresca di Mondolfo）。卷草纹与涡卷饰从中央台基向上延伸，用以支撑柱头顶端。涡卷饰之间以向日葵作为装饰，左右两侧则采用带有古典风格灵感的茛苕叶（acanthus leaves）作为装饰元素。
