ADCP Current Velocity Observations from 0 to 500 m in the California Current System

This dataset contains processed level 2+ current velocity profiles from a moored Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP), collected between [April 1st] and [July 4th] in the California Current System. Velocities are provided from the surface to 500 meters depth at a ~45 min interval. The dataset supports the analysis in Tchonang et al. (2025, submitted), “WOT Geostrophic Velocity Validation against in-situ measurements in the California Current”. Variables include zonal and meridional velocities, time, and depth levels.
