Factors affecting the gut microbiota composition of children with CHD

The primary objective of this study was to characterize the gut microbiota composition of children with CHD and compare it to healthy infants. Important clinical factors which potentially influence early-life microbiota composition (e.g. maternal nutrition, maternal antibiotics, infant feeding, mode of delivery) were considered.
