Construction and analysis of the 3rd generation of reference genomes of marine animals (KAP220223)

This project challenges the constructions of VGP platinum quality genomes (3.4.2.QV40 Phased). We are trying to achieve the chromosome-level reference genome of Korean giant-fin mudskipper. Based on collaborations with Vertebrate Genomes Project (VGP), we are generating the raw sequence data with 4 cutting edge technologies (Pacbio SMR, 10X linked reads, Bionano NGM, Arima Hi-C). Applying VGP assembly pipeline, we will achieve VGP platinum quality.
