Acoustic Doppler current profiles on a shallow water area near Allacciante - Valgrande channels (Venice Lagoon, Italy) - BRAHMS project

Vertical profiles of 3D currents (10cm-thick cells) collected every 10-15 minutes during few hours (a tidal phase) throughout a section in a shallow water area (average depth about 1.5 m) on a subidal flat near Allacciante and Valgrande channels, Lagoon of Venice (IT). A mini-raft has been equipped with a down-looking ADCP and pulled back and forth (with a pulley) between two poles driven on the seabed.本数据集包含三维流场的垂直剖面数据，数据以10厘米厚的测流单元采集，采样间隔为10至15分钟，单次采集时长为数小时，覆盖完整潮汐相位。数据采集区域为意大利（IT）威尼斯潟湖内阿拉恰恩特（Allacciante）与瓦尔格兰德（Valgrande）水道附近的潮下浅滩，该区域为浅水区，平均水深约1.5米，数据覆盖该浅滩上的某一完整断面。观测搭载平台为小型浮筏，其上安装有下视式声学多普勒流速剖面仪（Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler, ADCP），该浮筏通过滑轮系统在两根打入海床的固定桩柱之间往复拖拽。
