This study investigated the potential of Rosa roxburghii pomace (RP) and Lactobacillus acidophilus on improving biomass preservation and biogas production of alfalfa during anaerobic storage. The alfalfa treatments were as follows: 1) CK (without additives); 2) R, applied at RP; 3) L, applied at Lactobacillus acidophilus; and 4) RL, combined application of RP with Lactobacillus acidophilus during 50 days of anaerobic storage.
