Population of the Basque Country by marital status and age, by sex.

The knowledge and quantification of the population related to education, Basque level, activity and mobility of people residing in the Basque Country, as well as information on housing, requires various statistical sources. On the one hand, population counts have been carried out ten years through the Population and Housing Census, as well as by the Intercensal Population and Housing Statistics; on the other hand, through the various municipal statistics (municipal statistics of inhabitants, municipal statistics on housing, municipal education statistics and municipal labour force statistics). In addition, using as main sources the administrative records of the Municipal Register of Inhabitants, the municipal demographic information and the different characteristics are renewed.针对巴斯克地区（Basque Country）居住人口的教育状况、巴斯克语水平、就业活动与人口流动情况，以及住房相关信息的知识与量化统计，需整合多类统计数据源。一方面，依托每十年开展一次的人口与住房普查，以及跨普查期人口与住房统计资料获取相关统计数据；另一方面，通过各类市级统计数据——包括市级居民统计、市级住房统计、市级教育统计与市级劳动力统计——采集相关信息。此外，以居民市政登记册（Municipal Register of Inhabitants）的行政记录、市级人口统计信息及各类特征数据作为核心数据源，完成相关信息的更新。
