SO2SAT POP

SO2SAT POP数据集是由慕尼黑工业大学地球观测数据科学系创建，旨在为欧洲98个城市的人口估计提供一个全面的数据集。该数据集包含数字高程模型、局部气候区、土地利用比例、夜间灯光以及多光谱Sentinel-2图像等多种数据源，总计约138万条数据。数据集的创建过程涉及多源数据的融合与处理，旨在解决城市规划、灾害管理等领域中的人口分布估计问题。

The SO2SAT POP Dataset was developed by the Department of Earth Observation Data Science at the Technical University of Munich. It is constructed to provide a comprehensive dataset for population estimation across 98 cities in Europe. This dataset integrates multiple data sources including Digital Elevation Model (DEM), Local Climate Zone (LCZ) classifications, land use proportion metrics, nighttime light data, and multi-spectral Sentinel-2 imagery, with a total of approximately 1.38 million data records. The development process involves the fusion and processing of multi-source data, aiming to solve the problem of population distribution estimation in fields such as urban planning and disaster management.
