How integrated systematics is harnessing the conservation potential of megadiverse, taxonomically complex groups

Data files used for the analysis of herbarium specimen record changes across two snapshots of a monographic database in the paper "How integrated systematics is harnessing the conservation potential of megadiverse, taxonomically complex groups".<br>The two files are:<br>1. specimen_data.csv - Each row is the data held in the monographic database for a particular specimen in a particular snapshot. The fields include an id for each specimen, the specimen species name, the coordinates of where the specimen was collected, the year the specimen was collected, indication of if the specimen was identified to species, and the snapshot that particular set of data was taken from.<br>2. name_change_data.csv - Each row is a change in the name recorded in the database for a specimen. The fields are the species name in the first snapshot, the species name in the second snapshot, and a classification of the name change.<br>Due to sensitivity issues, all species names have been replaced unique identifiers. This allows someone to reproduce the analysis described in the paper, without providing them the entire monographic database.<br>Code to reproduce the analysis can be found on Github (https://github.com/barnabywalker/monographic_db_changes_analysis).

本数据集用于分析论文《整合系统学如何挖掘高度多样且分类学复杂类群的保护潜力》（How integrated systematics is harnessing the conservation potential of megadiverse, taxonomically complex groups）中两份专题数据库快照对应的馆藏标本记录变化。<br>包含以下两份数据文件：<br>1. specimen_data.csv —— 每一行对应某一快照版本中某份馆藏标本在专题数据库中的存储数据，字段涵盖每份标本的唯一标识、物种名称、采集坐标、采集年份、是否已鉴定至种级水平，以及该数据所属的快照版本。<br>2. name_change_data.csv —— 每一行对应一份馆藏标本在数据库中的名称变更记录，字段包含第一份快照中的物种名称、第二份快照中的物种名称，以及该名称变更的类型分类。<br>出于数据敏感性考量，所有物种名称均已替换为唯一标识符。此举可使研究人员复现论文中所述的分析流程，同时无需提供完整的专题数据库。<br>复现该分析所需的代码可在GitHub（https://github.com/barnabywalker/monographic_db_changes_analysis）获取。
