Orientation and growth of colonies of four diatom species (Stephanopyxis turris, Pseudo-nitzschia sp., Skeletonema sp., and Odontella sinensis) in Couette flow

This dataset includes data on the orientation and growth of colonies of four diatom species (Stephanopyxis turris, Pseudo-nitzschia sp., Skeletonema sp., and Odontella sinensis) in Couette flow. Experiments were conducted at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute in Fort Pierce, FL, USA from March 2020 to June 2021. Data are provided from all replicates and summary data (means) are provided as a Supplemental File.本数据集收录了四种硅藻物种（Stephanopyxis turris、Pseudo-nitzschia sp.、Skeletonema sp.及Odontella sinensis）在库埃特流（Couette flow）中的群体取向与生长相关数据。相关实验于2020年3月至2021年6月间，在美国佛罗里达州皮尔斯堡的哈伯分支海洋学研究所（Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute）开展。数据集包含全部重复实验的原始数据，汇总统计所得的均值以补充文件形式提供。
