The growth performance in pigs can be altered by the proportion of crude proteins included in their diet. Reduced crude protein in the diet is known to cause low growth performance. However, the underlying mechanisms that give rise to this observation are not yet well understood. The current study attempts to address this research gap via the study of plasma metabolomic profile and fecal microbiota composition of weaned pigs under low protein-high carbohydrate dietary conditions.
生猪的生长性能可受日粮粗蛋白质占比的调控。已知日粮粗蛋白质水平降低会导致生长性能下降,但该现象背后的潜在作用机制目前尚未完全阐明。本研究旨在通过分析低蛋白-高碳水化合物日粮条件下断奶仔猪的血浆代谢组学特征(plasma metabolomic profile)与粪便微生物群组成(fecal microbiota composition),填补这一研究空白。
