Site Data from an Archaeological Watching Brief at Scotson Chambers, 80 High Street South, Dunstable, Bedfordshire, November 2021

This collection consists of site images and CAD/vector drawings from an archaeological watching brief at Scotson Chambers, 80 High Street South, Dunstable, Bedfordshire. The watching brief was conducted by Albion Archaeology in November 2021, and works revealed modern disturbance associated with former buildings on the site. No features earlier than the modern period were identified within the foundation trenches. It is possible that earlier archaeological deposits may have been truncated during the construction of previous buildings, and it cannot be ruled out that such remains may survive below the level of the present groundworks. The modern deposits identified are of negligible archaeological significance with no further potential to address regional research aims.
