Caddisfly response to temperature

Fifth instar larvae of the caddisfly Dicosmoecus gilvipes were collected from the South Fork Eel River in Northern California and held in common garden at 11C before thermally ramping over 4 days to temperatures between 15 and 30C, where they were held for 24h until being frozen and prepared for RNAseq.本实验所用的石蛾Dicosmoecus gilvipes五龄幼虫采集自美国北加利福尼亚州的南福克伊尔河。采集后，幼虫先被置于11℃的统一饲养环境中暂养，随后在4天内逐步升温至15℃至30℃的温度区间，并在此条件下适应24小时，之后将幼虫冷冻固定并制备样品以供RNA测序（RNAseq）使用。
