Lake Catchment Set

A freely available data set of inflow lakes’ catchments including lakes, location, shape, area, perimeter, etc. over the Qiangtang Plateau which is a main part of the Tibetan Plateau. The data set is derived from Landset8 images, Google Earth and DEM. It will provide important basic information for researchers to study the changes of meteorology, hydrology and environment and its mechanism in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.本数据集为可免费获取的覆盖作为青藏高原主体部分的羌塘高原（Qiangtang Plateau）的入湖流域数据集，涵盖湖泊、位置、形状、面积、周长等相关参数。该数据集源自Landset 8影像、谷歌地球（Google Earth）与数字高程模型（Digital Elevation Model, DEM），可为研究人员开展青藏高原气象、水文与环境变化及其作用机理的相关研究提供重要基础支撑信息。
