Genetic determinants of gut microbiota composition and bile acid profiles in mice

In this study, we performed gut microbiome analysis, quantification of plasma and cecal bile acids and Quantitative Trait Loci (QTL) analysis using the genetically distinct, Diversity Outbred mouse population (n=400) to identify genes from the host that are associated with both microbial abundance and BA levels.本研究以遗传背景各异的多样性远交（Diversity Outbred）小鼠种群（n=400）为研究对象，开展肠道微生物组分析、血浆与盲肠胆汁酸（Bile Acids, BA）定量检测及数量性状位点（Quantitative Trait Loci, QTL）分析，旨在筛选出与宿主肠道微生物丰度及BA水平均相关的宿主基因。
