Export volume of coffee in Tanzania 2019-2021

In September 2021, the export of coffee from Tanzania amounted to 8.5 thousand metric tons, increasing by 4.6 thousand metric tons compared to the previous month, when the country exported 3.9 thousand metric tons of the product. In the same month of the previous year, the country also exported less amounts of coffee than this year, which measured at 5.3 thousand metric tons. Coffee is one of the main agricultural items in the country's export basket. Japan, Italy, and the United States are the biggest buyers of Tanzanian coffee.
