The dataset presents quantitative composition data for four microalgal species, including concentrations of individual fatty acids (g/kg microalgae), carotenoids (g/kg microalgae), and selenium-containing amino acids (mg/kg microalgae). The dataset provides a comparative overview of the chemical profiles of Scenedesmus obliquus, Chlorella vulgaris, Japonochytrium marinum, and Trachidiscus minutus.
