The measurement of neutron capture cross sections of natIn from 1 eV to 1 MeV was performed at the Back-n facility of the Chinese Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) using the time-of-flight (TOF) method and the C6D6 liquid scintillation detectors. The detector efficiency was corrected using the pulse height weighting technique. The final cross sections fitted by the R-matrix codes match well with those given by the evaluation libraries ENDF/B-VIII.1, JEFF-3.3, JENDL-5 and TENDL-2023. This study used the R-matrix code SAMMY to analyze neutron capture yields and extract resonance parameters from 1 eV to 2 keV. The TALYS code was used to describe the experiment results at the unresolved resonance region.
本研究在中国散裂中子源(CSNS)的Back-n装置上,采用飞行时间法(TOF)与C6D6液体闪烁探测器,完成了1 eV至1 MeV能区天然铟(natIn)的中子俘获截面测量。实验采用脉冲高度加权技术对探测器效率进行了校正。通过R矩阵(R-matrix)代码拟合得到的最终俘获截面,与ENDF/B-VIII.1、JEFF-3.3、JENDL-5及TENDL-2023等评价库给出的结果吻合良好。本研究使用R矩阵代码SAMMY分析了1 eV至2 keV能区的中子俘获产额,并提取出共振参数。针对未解析共振区,采用TALYS代码对实验结果进行了描述。
