Literary Criticism I

These are two assignments that I submitted as a part of Continuous Internal Assessments (CIAs) for Literary Criticism and Theory in the first semester of my Masters in English with Communication Studies. Where one file summarizes the key points of 'The Poet's Religion', an essay by Rabindranath Tagore, in about 150 words, the other word file contains the abstract I put together of the main ideas proposed by Edgar Allan Poe in 'The Poetic Principle' while contrasting them with the views of one of the most popular romantic poets– William Wordsworth.

本数据集包含两份作业，均为笔者在英语与传播学硕士项目第一学期修读《文学批评与理论》课程时提交的持续内部评估（Continuous Internal Assessments, CIA）作业。其中一份文档以约150词的篇幅，梳理并总结了拉宾德拉纳特·泰戈尔（Rabindranath Tagore）散文《诗人的宗教》（The Poet's Religion）的核心观点；另一份Word文档则为笔者整合埃德加·爱伦·坡（Edgar Allan Poe）《诗歌原理》（The Poetic Principle）所提出的核心主张后形成的摘要，并将该理论与最具影响力的浪漫主义诗人之一威廉·华兹华斯（William Wordsworth）的相关观点进行了对比。
