The data is a result of the study titled "Global-local analysis of cost-optimal onshore wind turbine configurations considering wind classes and hub heights" by Rasul Satymov, Dmitrii Bogdanov and Christian Breyer (2022). The data is in a Matlab file (.mat) in a 400x800x8760 matrix for latitudes, longitudes, and hours of a year. The data is for the results with the cost assumptions of 2020. The data is also available for 2025:5:2050 cost assumptions accesible at request.
