Arthrobacter sp. D5-1.Atrazine-degrading bacterium.Arthrobacter sp. D5-1 was isolate from soil of cogon grass at Shandong, China and is able to use atrazine as a sole source of nitrogen. The root-colonizing Arthrobacter sp. D5-1 displays atrazine degradation and remarkable motility ability making it a good candidate for bioremediation. The genome sequence of this organism will help elucidate the genes involved in the bioremediation of atrazine compounds and motility mechanisms.节杆菌属菌株D5-1（Arthrobacter sp. D5-1）是一株阿特拉津降解菌。该菌株分离自中国山东的白茅根际土壤，能够以阿特拉津作为唯一氮源进行生长。定殖于植物根部的节杆菌属菌株D5-1兼具阿特拉津降解能力与优异的运动性能，是生物修复的优良候选菌株。该菌株的全基因组序列将有助于解析参与阿特拉津类化合物生物修复以及运动机制的相关基因。
