Draft Genome Sequences of Heat-Shock Tolerant Microbes Isolated from a Spacecraft Assembly Facility

Heat-shock tolerant microorganisms belonging to Bacillales and Micrococcales were isolated from the Spacecraft Assembly Facility at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and 63 draft genome sequences were assembled and identified. Further analyses of these genomes can provide insight into methods for preventing forward contamination.

耐热休克微生物，隶属于芽孢杆菌目（Bacillales）与微球菌目（Micrococcales），分离自美国喷气推进实验室（Jet Propulsion Laboratory）的航天器装配设施，共组装并鉴定出63条草图基因组序列。对上述基因组开展进一步分析，可为预防前向污染（forward contamination）的相关方法提供科学见解。
