A prospective study on the effect of caries management on oral microbial diversity in patients with rampant caries

It intend to conduct a prospective study of microbial genomes in saliva and plaque specimens of patients with rampant caries before and after caries management by Illumina high-throughput sequencing technology. It hopes to reveal the relationship between oral microbes and the development of rampant caries, and provides a theoretical basis for the prevention and control of rampant caries through the regulation of flora.

本研究采用Illumina高通量测序技术，针对猖獗龋（rampant caries）患者龋病治疗前后的唾液与菌斑标本中的微生物基因组开展前瞻性研究，旨在阐明口腔微生物与猖獗龋发生发展的关联，并为通过调控菌群实现猖獗龋的防治提供理论依据。
