genome analysis of Marinomonas sp. THO17 isolated from seagrass surface

Marine bacteria surrounding seagrass have a potential to promote growth of marine plants and algae. Marinomonas sp. strain THO17 was isolated form leaf surface of seagrass (Thalassia hemprichii), and has an ability to produce auxin (indole-3-acetic acid). In this project, the genome sequence of Marinomonas sp. THO17 was determined, and the related gene for auxin production was explored.
