Campylobacter jejuni subsp. jejuni H22082. Campylobacter jejuni subsp. jejuni H22082 was isolated in August 2005 from human faecal material from a case of campylobacteriosis in Palmerston North, NZ. Campylobacter jejuni subsp. jejuni is one of the most common causes for gastroenteritis worldwide, with New Zealand having a very high rate of the disease compared to other developed nations.
