Shotgun sequencing of a collection of Phytophthora infestans isolates stored as either herbarium specimens or as recent FTA cards spanning the period 1873 - 2019 from Australia. All isolates are A1 mating type and support the hypothesis that Australia has one old strain of late blight that has survived since its initial introduction into the country in 1909.
