Quantification of cells in different cell-cycle phases.

The numbers show percent cells with different DNA contents, emerging from the data shown in Figure 4C (line 1), Figure 4D (lines 2,3), Figure 4H (line 4) and Figure 4J (lines 5,6). The S numbers in parenthesis refer to the subpopulations defined in Figures 2 and 3. Gating was first performed with respect to FSC/SSC to exclude cell doublets. Thereafter, the DNA content distributions of cells with low DNA-W, i.e. mononuclear cells, and with high DNA-W (binuclear cells) were analyzed separately by simulations.
