CNRM-CERFACS CNRM-ESM2-1 model output prepared for CMIP6 LUMIP

Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6) datasets: These data include all datasets published for 'CMIP6.LUMIP.CNRM-CERFACS.CNRM-ESM2-1' with the full Data Reference Syntax following the template 'mip_era.activity_id.institution_id.source_id.experiment_id.member_id.table_id.variable_id.grid_label.version'. The CNRM-ESM2-1 climate model, released in 2017, includes the following components: aerosol: TACTIC_v2, atmos: Arpege 6.3 (T127; Gaussian Reduced with 24572 grid points in total distributed over 128 latitude circles (with 256 grid points per latitude circle between 30degN and 30degS reducing to 20 grid points per latitude circle at 88.9degN and 88.9degS); 91 levels; top level 78.4 km), atmosChem: REPROBUS-C_v2, land: Surfex 8.0c, ocean: Nemo 3.6 (eORCA1, tripolar primarily 1deg; 362 x 294 longitude/latitude; 75 levels; top grid cell 0-1 m), ocnBgchem: Pisces 2.s, seaIce: Gelato 6.1. The model was run by the CNRM (Centre National de Recherches Meteorologiques, Toulouse 31057, France), CERFACS (Centre Europeen de Recherche et de Formation Avancee en Calcul Scientifique, Toulouse 31057, France) (CNRM-CERFACS) in native nominal resolutions: aerosol: 250 km, atmos: 250 km, atmosChem: 250 km, land: 250 km, ocean: 100 km, ocnBgchem: 100 km, seaIce: 100 km. Project: These data have been generated as part of the internationally-coordinated Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6; see also GMD Special Issue: http://www.geosci-model-dev.net/special_issue590.html). The simulation data provides a basis for climate research designed to answer fundamental science questions and serves as resource for authors of the Sixth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC-AR6). CMIP6 is a project coordinated by the Working Group on Coupled Modelling (WGCM) as part of the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP). Phase 6 builds on previous phases executed under the leadership of the Program for Climate Model Diagnosis and Intercomparison (PCMDI) and relies on the Earth System Grid Federation (ESGF) and the Centre for Environmental Data Analysis (CEDA) along with numerous related activities for implementation. The original data is hosted and partially replicated on a federated collection of data nodes, and most of the data relied on by the IPCC is being archived for long-term preservation at the IPCC Data Distribution Centre (IPCC DDC) hosted by the German Climate Computing Center (DKRZ). 该模型由法国国家气象研究中心（Centre National de Recherches Meteorologiques，CNRM，图卢兹31057，法国）与欧洲科学计算高级研究与培训中心（Centre Europeen de Recherche et de Formation Avancee en Calcul Scientifique，CERFACS，图卢兹31057，法国），二者合称CNRM-CERFACS，以原生标称分辨率运行：气溶胶模块250 km，大气模块250 km，大气化学模块250 km，陆面模块250 km，海洋模块100 km，海洋生物地球化学模块100 km，海冰模块100 km。

本数据集作为国际协同推进的耦合模型比较计划第六阶段（CMIP6；详见《地球系统模型发展》特刊：http://www.geosci-model-dev.net/special_issue590.html）的产出成果生成。此模拟数据为解答核心科学问题的气候研究提供基础支撑，同时可供政府间气候变化专门委员会（Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change，IPCC）第六次评估报告（IPCC-AR6）的作者作为研究资源使用。

CMIP6由耦合模拟工作组（Working Group on Coupled Modelling，WGCM）作为世界气候研究计划（World Climate Research Programme，WCRP）的一部分协调推进。第六阶段延续了此前在气候模型诊断与比较计划（Program for Climate Model Diagnosis and Intercomparison，PCMDI）主导下开展的多轮项目，并依托地球系统网格联合会（Earth System Grid Federation，ESGF）与环境数据分析中心（Centre for Environmental Data Analysis，CEDA）及众多相关配套活动完成项目实施。原始数据托管于联邦式数据节点集群并实现部分副本存储，IPCC所依赖的多数数据已交由德国气候计算中心（German Climate Computing Center，DKRZ）托管的IPCC数据分发中心（IPCC Data Distribution Centre，IPCC DDC）进行长期归档保存。该项目汇集了全球约120个全球气候模型与近45家科研机构及组织的模拟成果。
