Water erosion hazard – Soil removal (t/ha/a) Water erosion (RxKxSxL)

The data set contains data from the LBGR on soil removal (t/ha/a) by water erosion (RxKxSxL) in the state of Brandenburg and is provided via a display and download service. The soil removal data set shows the spatial distribution of potential soil removal by water on Brandenburg's agricultural land. The determination was based on DIN19708 (https://dx.doi.org/10.31030/2676773), the underlying method of which is referred to as the General Soil Ablation Equation (ABAG). The soil removal is shown in a spatial resolution of 5x5 meters. The potential soil removal by water results from the combination of the rain erosivity factor R, the soil erosion factor K, the slope slope factor S and the slope length factor L.
