Data and code for vegetation-cover disturbance and recovery assessment along the Zhengzhou East-Dengzhou East high-speed railway corridor

This archive contains the data and code supporting the manuscript "Spatiotemporal assessment of vegetation-cover disturbance and recovery along a high-speed railway corridor using Landsat time series." The study assesses vegetation-cover disturbance and recovery along the Zhengzhou East-Dengzhou East section of the Zhengzhou-Wanzhou high-speed railway corridor in Henan, China. The archive includes the corrected railway centerline and buffer-zone vectors, Google Earth Engine scripts, exported annual zonal statistics, disturbance and recovery metrics, validation samples, raster metrics, generated figures, README file, and file manifest. Landsat 8/9 Collection 2 Level-2 imagery was processed in Google Earth Engine to derive NDVI, NBR, and fractional vegetation cover metrics for the 2013-2025 period.
