Georeferenced urban grassland vegetation observations from Jelgava, Latvia (2025)

Plot-level vascular plant occurrence and direct visually estimated projective cover from a grid based urban grassland survey in Jelgava, Latvia. The 104 plot sampling frame includes 102 completed 1 x 1 m quadrat surveys and two predefined plots that were inaccessible on 25 June 2025. Files provide plot metadata, public coordinates, recorded taxa, tidy positive observations, a zero/NA vegetation matrix, a data dictionary, change log, and quality-control report. Two as-recorded total herb-layer cover values are transparently flagged for field-sheet review and withheld from the QC-accepted field.
