Onshore and offshore wind power capacity in France 2023, by region

The region of Upper France accounted for over six gigawatts of wind power capacity in 2023, followed by the region of Great East. The wind energy installed in the other French regions was sensibly smaller. Wind electricity consumption in France was highest in the regions with the largest wind capacity, as expected.
