we characterized differentially packaged sRNAs in Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzicola (Xoc) OMVs using RNA-Seq. We selected the most abundant sRNA Xosr001 for further study based on its essential role in the induction of stomatal immunity in rice.

本研究借助RNA测序（RNA-Seq），对稻黄单胞菌水稻生致病变种（Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzicola, Xoc）外膜囊泡（outer membrane vesicles, OMVs）内差异包装的小RNA（small RNAs, sRNAs）开展了表征分析。基于该小RNA在诱导水稻气孔免疫过程中的核心作用，我们选取丰度最高的Xosr001进行后续研究。
