Responsiveness to pulmonary rehabilitation in people with COPD is related with microbiota changes

Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) is one of the most cost-effective therapies for the management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). However, it is not equally effective for all patients and the reasons for non-response are mostly unknown. PR may change the airway microbiota which might play a role in its responsiveness. We have explored PR-induced changes in microbiota and inflammation and its link with responsiveness to PR.肺康复（Pulmonary Rehabilitation, PR）是管理慢性阻塞性肺疾病（Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, COPD）最具成本效益的治疗手段之一。然而，其治疗效果并非在所有患者中均一致，治疗无应答的原因大多尚不明确。肺康复可改变气道微生物群，而后者可能在治疗应答中发挥作用。本研究探讨了肺康复诱导的微生物群与炎症变化，及其与肺康复治疗应答的关联。
