Clostridium difficile is the leading cause of healthcare-associated infectious diarrhoea. C. difficile infection (CDI) is mainly associated with the disruption in gut microbiota caused by excessive use of antibiotics. To understand the dynamics of gut microbes during and after CDI, we collected human faecal samples from symptomatic patients of a single hospital and compared the microbiota compostion of symptomatic patients with the microbiota composition of different controls.艰难梭菌（Clostridium difficile）是医疗保健相关感染性腹泻的首要致病病原体。艰难梭菌感染（CDI）主要与抗生素过度使用引发的肠道菌群失调密切相关。为明确CDI病程中及感染后肠道微生物的动态变化规律，本研究从某单中心医院的症状性患者中采集了人类粪便样本，并将症状性患者的肠道菌群组成与不同对照组的菌群组成进行了对比分析。
