The Surface Archaeology of Butte Valley Death Valley National Monument

This paper presents the results of an archaeological survey of Butte Valley, Death Valley National HontlDlent. The reconnaissance was part of a larger program of archaeological research in the Monument being carried on under a contract between the Department of Anthropology, University of Southern California, and the National Park Service.
