NRS-13839 | Register of leases for mineral purposes

This register contains a copy of a mineral lease in favour of James Martin under the provisions of S.22 of the Crown Lands Occupation Act, 1861 which authorised the grant of leases for the mining of any metal or mineral other than gold not exceeding in extent three hundred and twenty acres for coal mining lots, and not exceeding eighty acres for other mineral lots and for a period not exceeding forty years. There were also various other conditions concerning the payment of rent and the renewal of the leases.(7/1026). 1 vol.
