Hysterosalpingography with Lipiodol is known to enhance fertility. Frequency of mature dendritic cell of pertitoneal cavity is higher in the patients after hysterosalpingography with Lipiodol than control. In order to elucidate the mechanism of fertility enhancing effect of Lipiodl, we used microarray to clarify the effect of Lipiodol on dendritic cells. Monocyte derived dendritic cells from monocytes obtained from healthy doner were cultured with or without 1% Lipiodol.
