Laboratory Panel for Intestinal Tuberculosis in Indonesia

World Health Organization (WHO) reported through the Global Tuberculosis Report 2022 that Indonesia is in 2nd place with the highest burden of tuberculosis (TB) in 2021. Intestinal tuberculosis (ITB) as part of TB has a prevalence of around 3–16%. The clinical manifestations, radiological features, and histopathology of ITB resemble other gastrointestinal diseases, such as Crohn's disease and colon cancer, making it a challenge in efforts to develop a noninvasive laboratory panel for diagnosing ITB with various laboratory biomarkers. 世界卫生组织（World Health Organization, WHO）在《2022年全球结核病报告》中披露数据：2021年印度尼西亚的结核病（tuberculosis, TB）疾病负担位列全球第二。作为结核病组成部分的肠结核（intestinal tuberculosis, ITB），其患病率约为3%~16%。肠结核的临床表现、影像学特征与组织病理学表现与克罗恩病（Crohn's disease）、结肠癌（colon cancer）等其他胃肠道疾病高度相似，这使得开发基于多种实验室生物标志物的无创实验室检测组合以用于肠结核诊断的工作面临不小挑战。本数据集收录了与肠结核诊断相关的实验室检测结果及临床表现相关数据。
