DOTSTAR ASTRA NCAR/EOL Dropsonde Data. Version 3.0

During ITOP the National Taiwan University DOTSTAR Astra jet released a total of 94 dropsondes in six flights over the Pacific Ocean near Taiwan during the months of August, September, and October 2010. This data set includes the high resolution (0.25 second winds and 0.5 second pressure, temperature and humidity) DOTSTAR dropsonde data set in the EOL columnar ASCII sounding format. This data set has undergone the NCAR/EOL quality control processing and includes the calculated vertical winds. See the readme for details on the QC process and data quality issues.

在ITOP项目实施期间，台湾大学DOTSTAR Astra飞机于2010年8月、9月及10月间，在台湾附近太平洋海域执行6次飞行任务，累计投放94个下投式探空仪 (dropsonde)。本数据集包含采用EOL柱状ASCII探空格式存储的高分辨率DOTSTAR下投式探空仪数据，其风速分辨率为0.25秒，气压、温度与湿度分辨率为0.5秒。本数据集已通过NCAR/EOL（美国国家大气研究中心/地球观测实验室）的质量控制处理，并包含计算得到的垂直风速数据。有关质量控制流程及数据质量问题的详细信息，请参阅自述文件。
